Job summary

The Inventory Control Clerk position in Four Oaks, NC is a 12-month contract role supporting manufacturing and quality by maintaining accurate ERP records, counting raw materials and finished goods, and generating transaction reports.

You will perform cycle counts, assist investigations of discrepancies, and ensure material integrity. Training provided; background and drug screening required; climate-controlled environment; steel-toe shoes required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Strong math and data entry skills essential.
• Forklift experience with at least 6 months preferred.
• Excellent communication and ability to read/write in English.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing material transactions (receiving, shipping, transferring, counting).
• Generate reports from the ERP system as needed and reconcile discrepancies with perpetual inventory.
• Conduct periodic cycle counts to ensure system integrity.
• Assist in investigating anomalies found during daily activities or cycle counts.
• Coordinate destruction of obsolete or unusable materials as directed.
• Support Manufacturing and Quality departments with inventory control tasks.

• The Inventory Control Clerk will be responsible for inventory related functions in order to keep accurate records of raw materials and finished goods.
• The position will support the Manufacturing and Quality departments by maintaining accurate records of all transactions involving raw material and finished good movements.
• The position will also be responsible for conducting periodic cycle counts to ensure the integrity of the system.
• Candidate will receive 2 weeks of training on the job assignment.
• Candidate must clear all background checks and drug screening before starting the job assignment.
• This is a climate-controlled environment.
• Steel toes shoes or composite shoes are required for this job assignment. Responsibilities
