MillenniumSoft Inc. in Four Oaks, NC is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk for a 12-month assignment. The role supports manufacturing by maintaining accurate records of raw materials and finished goods and by performing periodic cycle counts.

Pay rate is $19.25 per hour with a schedule Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Weekend work may be required. Two weeks of on-the-job training will be provided, and background checks including drug screening are required before start.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) required.
• Strong math skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift experience—minimum 6 months required.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Ability to read/write English language documentation required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing material transactions including receiving, shipping, transferring, and counting of raw materials and finished goods.
• Responsible for reconciling discrepancies between perpetual inventory records and actual physical counts.
• Conduct periodic cycle counts as directed by management to insure system integrity.
• Assist in investigating anomalies found during daily activities or cycle counts.
• Coordinate the destruction of obsolete, excess, or unusable materials as directed by management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

CANDIDATE MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK ON WEEKENDS, if requested by the hiring manager due to business needs. No exceptions.

10 Panel Drug Screen Required-CANDIDATE MUST COMPLETE DRUG SCREENING WITHIN 48 HOURS OF ACCEPTANCE OF THE JOB OFFER.

Candidate must have previous work experience working with Excel, and microsoft office suite. No exceptions.

High School diploma or equivalent is required for this job assignment.

CANDIDATE WILL RECEIVE 2 weeks of training on the job assignment.

Candidate must clear all background checks and drug screening before starting the job assignment.

THIS IS A CLIMATE CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT.

Steel toes shoes or composite shoes are required for this job assignment.

Candidates with previous inventory clerk experience in a manufacturing work environment will have first preference.

Inventory Control Clerk

Job Summary

The Inventory Control Clerk will be responsible for inventory related functions in order to keep accurate records of raw materials and finished goods. The position will support the Manufacturing and Quality departments by maintaining accurate records of all transactions involving raw material and finished good movements. The position will also be responsible for conducting periodic cycle counts to ensure the integrity of the system.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing material transactions including receiving, shipping, transferring, and counting of raw materials and finished goods. This includes generating reports from the ERP system as needed.
• Responsible for reconciling any discrepancies between the perpetual inventory records and actual physical count of materials.
• Conduct periodic cycle counts as directed by management to insure the integrity of the system.
• Assist in investigating any anomalies found during the course of daily activities or cycle counts.
• Coordinate the destruction of obsolete, excess, or otherwise unusable materials as directed by management.
• Other duties as assigned.
