Inventory Control Specialist - 2nd Shift

Position Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist updates stock records and related information in Oracle to monitor the accuracy of inventory levels. Performs inventory transactions, manages daily cycle counting and monthly inventory reporting, and assists in handling customer complaints using Netregulus software. The role requires forklift experience with Order Picker, Standup Forklift, and/or Reach Truck. Responsibilities include tracking not founds, monitoring missing locations, and more.

Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate daily cycle counts, including physical counts, report preparation, reconciliation, and data entry.
• Ensure accurate and prompt entry of inventory transactions into Oracle, maintaining records.
• Generate monthly reports on expired lots and supervise stock movements and Oracle transactions.
• Prepare monthly cycle count reports with details on items, pieces, dollars, and adjustments.
• Monitor transactions to suggest improvements in inventory procedures.
• Assist in shipping complaint handling via Netregulus, including input, research, and reporting.
• Review and report on inventory in On Hold and Review areas.
• Collaborate with Distribution, Purchasing, and Customer Service on inventory variances and shipping issues.
• Set up locators in Oracle for incoming items without assigned locations.
• Process inspection receipts using the AS400 system and perform sub-inventory transfers in Oracle.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of inventory control or warehousing experience.
• Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of inventory transactions and record keeping.
