Position Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist updates stock records and related information in Oracle to monitor the accuracy of inventory levels. Performs inventory transactions and manages daily cycle counting and monthly inventory reporting. Assists in handling customer complaints utilizing Netregulus software. Performs receiving and distribution tasks as needed. This role requires forklift experience with Order Picker, Standup Forklift, and/or Reach Truck for streamlined operations. This position will track not founds, monitor missing locations, and more.

Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll do as an Inventory Control Specialist
  1. Schedule and coordinate complete daily cycle counts including report preparation, monitoring physical counting, reconciliation, and data entry.
  2. Ensure all daily inventory transactions are accurately and promptly entered into Oracle and maintain records.
  3. Generate monthly expired lot report and supervise the physical movement of stock to correct locations and sub-inventories, performing Oracle transactions and system reports.
  4. Generate monthly cycle count report including total items, pieces, dollars counted, and all adjustments.
  5. Monitor inventory transactions to develop and/or recommend improvements in inventory procedures and work instructions.
  6. Assist in shipping complaint handling utilizing Netregulus software, including input, research, and reporting to the Manager.
  7. Review, monitor, investigate, and report on inventory that is in the On Hold and Review areas.
  8. Work with Distribution, Purchasing, and Customer Service to address inventory variances and shipping complaints.
  9. Provide locator setup in Oracle for incoming items without an assigned location.
  10. Process inspection receipts utilizing the AS400 system and perform sub-inventory transfers in Oracle.

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of inventory control/warehousing experience.
  • Effective communication skills with all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of inventory transactions and record keeping.
