Job summary

WebstaurantStore is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure data accuracy between internal systems and physical counts. You will collaborate across departments to identify issues and propose proactive solutions, working independently across teams with precision.

The role requires at least 1 year in a distribution environment (not mandatory) and no degree is required; hands-on skills with warehouse equipment and scanners are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ of relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a minimum of 5 replenishments per hour
• Have a clean as you go mentality, removing trash and empty skids from bins
• Communicate inventory discrepancies with respective inventory team members
• Maintain performance, safety, and cultural expectations
• Report any damages to product seen in bins
• Report any forklift incidents
• Be respectful to lift traffic in warehouse and communicate direction
• Operate the stand-up reach truck
• Other duties as assigned by team lead outside area of responsibility

Inventory Control Specialists work independently and efficiently across departmental teams and are expected to fulfill their responsibilities with precision and care.

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.

Experience

1 year+ of relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not required
