Abacus Staffing in Brownsburg, IN is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our client site on 1st shift. You will maintain inventory accuracy, run cycle counts, and operate a cherry picker in a fast-paced distribution environment.

This temp-to-hire position requires at least 1 year in inventory control, comfort with RF scanners and WMS, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Weekly pay and opportunities for career growth are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year in inventory control or cycle counting.
• Experience operating a cherry picker in a warehouse.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and WMS systems.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts, location audits, and inventory verifications.
• Safely operate cherry picker/order picker to access elevated locations.
• Research discrepancies using physical inventory, locations, and system data.
• Record inventory adjustments, transfers, and status changes accurately.
• Verify item numbers, quantities, lot/serial numbers, and expiration dates.
