Job summary

Qualifications

• Skilled at identifying discrepancies and solving problems.
• Effective verbal and written communication for reporting and coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to learn warehouse systems.
• Understanding of FIFO, cycle counting, and stock rotation.
• Flexible in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Team-oriented with cross-department collaboration.
• Strong accountability and independence in managing responsibilities.
• Basic math and reading skills for task execution.
• Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures.
• Ability to interpret written and verbal instructions and perform root cause analysis.
• Prior forklift experience and ability to pass a forklift assessment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits; reconcile variances.
• Input and maintain inventory data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Prepare and manage inventory transaction documentation (receiving/shipping/adjustments).
• Assist with receiving shipments; verify counts and inspect for damage.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and proper product placement.
• Identify inventory issues and propose process improvements.
• Perform location audits and root cause analyses for recurring issues.
• Support initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
• Use system tools to trace and resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate stock status.
• Manage damaged goods process and disposition.
• Identify and segregate items under quality hold and document disposition.
• Execute inventory transfers to support production and fulfillment.
• Operate powered industrial trucks safely and perform forklift tasks.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
