Job summary

Newly Weds Foods is hiring a Inventory Control Clerk for the second shift in Broadview, IL. Shift hours are 7am - 3:30pm, with compensation of $21 - $31 per hour. The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy and preventing shortages, interfacing with QA, and reconciling counts.

You will reconcile SAP WMS with the Production Application, assist in cycle counting, and participate in the Recall Team. Strong Excel/Word/Outlook skills and 3+ years in inventory control are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in inventory control.
• Computer skills: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Requires good organizational skills.
• Requires good phone and interpersonal skills.
• Must be dependable, organized and able to resolve conflict.
• Working knowledge of the Inventory Tracking System.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile SAP WMS with Production Application by conducting physical counts.
• Coordinate with QA that materials are handled per procedures.
• Perform daily reviews of IDoc and COGI errors to reconcile issues for TECO orders.
• Perform daily reconciliations after order confirmations are completed.
• Oversee daily cycle counting and yearly physical inventory.
• Establish the list of materials to be cycle-counted.
• Member of the Recall Team; perform mock recalls regularly.
• Other tasks as directed by Management.

The position of Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining the overall accuracy of the warehouse inventories. This includes checking inventory requirements to guarantee that there are no material shortages resulting from inaccurate inventories.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Helps manage inventory levels by reconciling SAP WMS with Production Application by conducting physical counts when necessary.
• Coordinates with Quality Assurance that all inventoried materials are handled in accordance with policies and handling procedures.
• Performs daily reviews of IDoc and COGI errors to reconcile issues to facilitate the TECO order process.
• Performs daily reconciliations after order confirmations have been completed.
• Oversees the handling of daily cycle counting program and yearly physical inventory.
• Establishes the list of materials to be cycle-counted.
• Member of the Recall Team. Performs mock recalls on a regular basis.
• Any other task as directed by Management
