Job description

Position: Inventory Control Specialist

Department: Purchasing

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Filling orders (picking orders and doing the AS-400 transaction)
2. Stock shelves (after it has been received) away in the warehouse
3. Unload trucks
4. Full Physical inventory counts
5. Cycle Counting
6. Process all inventory requests

Normal Working Hours:

8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday

In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria in addition to the Ten Essential Attributes for All Employees.

Past Work Experience Requirements:

• Warehouse/inventory control experience preferred
• Previous forklift training preferred

Educational Requirements:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred

Communication Skills Requirements:

Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively by phone and in person.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency with AS400 preferred
• Ability to use fork lift, pallet jack, wave
• Data entry, 40 WPM - Intermediate

Physical Requirements:

Location of Work: Indoors, Outdoors, Temperature Fluctuations, Personal Protections Equipment Required

Work Postures:

• Standing - Frequent
