Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an Inventory Clerk in our New York distribution center to maintain inventory accuracy and support shipping and receiving demands. You will work with a team to ensure materials flow efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include perpetual inventory, cycle counts, and reports, plus coordinating recalls and quality audits. The role also involves using the inventory management system, maintaining SOPs, and supporting site regulators

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; associate degree or two years of equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Based on the site, industry specific (i.e. food grade) experience may be required.
• Familiar with ISO requirements preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail.
• Pass Background and Drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain perpetual inventory of materials and products and generates applicable inventory reports.
• Perform daily cycle count activities and inventory audits; monitor damaged product and provide reports.
• Verify clerical records against physical counts; investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate recalls, holds/releases, and product infestations as needed.
• Support quality functions and ensure site is inspection ready for SQFI, FDA or customer needs.
• Maintain the site's quality management portal and draft/revise site SOPs.
