Job summary

NFI is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to maintain accurate inventory records and support the Inventory Control Manager. You will perform daily cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and help implement procedures to improve inventory control across the facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
• Experience using MS Office applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in environments with variable noise, lighting, and temperature.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and updates inventory records.
• Reconciles inventories to book records and makes adjustments.
• Coordinates annual physical inventory procedures.
• Develops and implements procedures to improve inventory management.
• Performs weekly cycle counts and updates systems.
• Maintains security and confidentiality of inventory records.
• Generates reports and documentation for audits and counts.
• Communicates with customers regarding inventory timing.
