Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to coordinate and manage inventory control functions, including daily cycle counts and book-to-book reconciliations between client systems and NFI Distribution Center WMS.

The role reports to the Inventory Control Manager or General Manager and requires overseeing safety, training, and employee development while ensuring accurate reporting and timely communication with staff and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1–5 years supervisory experience required.
• High School Diploma required.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment; good judgment under stress.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, Lean/Six Sigma tools; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily cycle counts, slot audits and system reconciliations.
• Ensures customer requirements are reported accurately within timelines.
• Plans, executes and reconciles physical inventories.
• Prepares analysis of adjustments and reports.
• Researches discrepancies and recommends improvements.
• Leads training and onboarding for Inventory Control staff and conducts performance reviews.
