Job Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for validating the integrity of the company's inventory. This role will work collaboratively with several cross-functional teams to maintain or improve inventory metrics and best practices. The position requires managing the needs of the production floor, warehouse, and office.

Must be authorized to work in U.S.A. The company is not able to sponsor visas at this time.

Position Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct physical inventory counts regularly to prevent and resolve potential issues
  • Audit procedures to ensure data integrity and process improvements
  • Manage excess and obsolete inventory for disposition
  • Coordinate inventory information with cross-functional teams
  • Lead inventory counts as needed
  • Collaborate with customers on finished goods inventory, expiration, and billing
  • Provide feedback to purchasing, scheduling, production, sales, and customer service
  • Work with quality department to ensure product compliance
  • Ensure compliance with IATF and ISO standards
  • Support additional inventory management duties as needed
Experience, Skills, and Abilities
  • Professional and courteous communication skills
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Attention to detail in data entry and counts
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Self-motivated with ability to interact at all organizational levels
Education and Technical Requirements
  • Associates degree in business, supply chain, or equivalent experience in manufacturing inventory control
  • At least two years of inventory control experience, including cycle counting and reporting
  • Minimum of three years working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)

Location: Stoughton, WI — close to Madison and Janesville

All candidates must pass background checks, medical exams, and drug screens as part of the hiring process.
