Job summary

Hiland Dairy Foods Company in Springfield, MO is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk. You will count produced and purchased inventory daily, verify shipments, and maintain accurate records to support plant operations.

You'll work with AS400 and Excel, handling packaging, labeling, and warehouse organization while communicating effectively. This role requires reliability, detail-oriented work, and the ability to operate with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Basic math and reading skills are required.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.
• Computer data entry experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packaging and labeling.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update systems as needed.
• Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Work with AS400, Microsoft Excel and other computer systems.
• Count inventory with accuracy and resolve discrepancies timely.
