Job summary

UNFI is hiring for an Inventory Control role in a distribution center. You will track inventory accuracy, research discrepancies, and ensure correct product locations within the warehouse layout.

You will also help manage damaged or salvaged merchandise and work with multiple departments to improve inventory processes. Responsibilities include audits, adjusting records, reviewing velocity reports, and supporting operations leadership with data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience handling inventory and discrepancy research in a distribution center.
• Proficient in maintaining accurate records and warehouse layout knowledge.
• Capable of analyzing reports and communicating findings clearly.
• Ability to operate RF systems and related warehouse technology.
• Licensed to operate powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Verify and process inventory adjustments and discrepancies with stakeholders.
• Conduct on-site audits of shipments, storage, and returns.
• Collaborate with operations to optimize inventory accuracy and controls.
• Reconcile store returns and prepare required documentation for records.
• Track expiration dates, damages, and salvage opportunities as needed.
