The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for the inventory control of finished goods as well as raw materials. In addition, this position will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy.
Reconciliation of receiving/purchasing documentation. Distribute documentation to accounting/purchasing department once information has been verified and received
Ensure all deliveries are properly received and posted in company ERP system
Report daily material movement to accounting in order to accurately reflect used quantity within the production process
Work with accounting and plant management ensure critical supply (min/man), inventory cycle counts done either monthly or quarterly using required tag controls and test counts
Ensure all items in the warehouse are appropriately received and stored (This would include working with the material handling coordinator to ensure contract specific items are separated, counted, and properly stored)
Identify and report to management slow-moving inventory and obsolete material
See to proper inventory to ensure customers' demands are met in the most efficient manner obtainable
Work with cross-functional teams in the plant to ensure continuity and streamlined processes related to material handling, inventory control, and valid documentation
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Inventory control experience
Proficiency with MS Office Software
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day
