Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for managing the boutique's inventory and related logistics to support an exceptional client experience. This role processes incoming and outgoing shipments, tickets merchandise, records after‑sales activity, and supports cycle counts and bi‑annual inventories. The specialist maintains accurate records and helps analyze replenishment needs to uphold store inventory standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming shipments and process merchandise into inventory the same business day
• Print and ticket merchandise, returns and price updates
• Generate packing, shipping, transfers and RTVs accurately and maintain related documentation
• Organize and participate in weekly cycle counts and bi-annual inventories and reconcile discrepancies
• Process and track after-sales service items and damages, maintaining damage inventory
• Order and maintain stock levels of shipping, selling, store and kitchen supplies
• Support store management with inventory analysis and replenishment strategies

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in operations; luxury retail experience preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to analyze information, problem-solve and multi-task with accuracy
• Experience with internal inventory systems and external shipping software
• Focus on asset protection and inventory control
• Ability to lift 0-25 lbs without assistance and follow written and verbal procedures
