Job description

Summary

The Stock Controller supports store operations and the sales team by executing inventory and back-of-house procedures to ensure stock accuracy and operational compliance. This role manages shipping and receiving, maintains stock both front- and back-of-house, and provides customer service related to merchandise repairs and returns. The Stock Controller partners with store staff to deliver consistent service standards and accurate inventory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory control processes, stock maintenance, and accuracy including UPT updates
• Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments and direct staff for store inventories
• Execute shipping, receiving and back-of-house operational procedures
• Support store team to comply with inventory maintenance and operations guidelines
• Provide customer service regarding repairs and returns of merchandise

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years retail operations experience; luxury retail experience preferred
• Proven track record in inventory management and availability reporting
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to move and handle merchandise and boxes generally weighing 0-40 pounds and to stand/walk for majority of a 40-hour week
• Authorization to work in the country of employment and willingness to work varied hours and overtime
• Strong attention to detail, communication and leadership abilities
