As the Inventory Control Specialist, you will contribute to the achievement of organizational goals by performing a variety of tasks supporting the manufacturing floor and customer returns. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, demonstrate strong communication skills, manage multiple tasks/priorities daily, and have a solid attendance record.

What You'll Do...

Inventory Control

• Facilitate communication with procurement when an inventory purchase is needed; own communication requirements between the Inventory team, Production, and Purchasing
• Coordinate, document, and execute cycle counts per schedule
• Research history for all inventory adjustments after transactions (outside of normal cycle counts, e.g., negative inventory list)
• Complete scrap red tags, confirm PN's, and stage for disposition/monthly meetings
• Provide guidance to material handling team members in support of Inventory Management directives
• Ensure materials are in the appropriate bin locations and audit frequently
• Organize and manage the flow of materials within the building and warehouse

Operations Support

• Assist production and materials teams with pulling and putting away materials
• Maintain general housekeeping and organization of inventory
• Comply with OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies
• Note: Management may add or change duties at any time

Physical Requirements

• Close vision and the ability to see clearly
• Use hands to handle or feel objects
• Sit and stand for prolonged periods
• Stoop, bend, reach, walk, and perform repetitive motions with hands
• Lift weights up to 75 lbs

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience (not required)
• 1-2 years of inventory and manufacturing operations experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and related equipment
• Ability to work autonomously with limited guidance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed
