Job summary

Biamp Systems LLC is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist I to ensure inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts and minor adjustments. The position is on-site, Monday–Friday, 8-hour days, and will require collaboration with multiple departments.

The role emphasizes maintaining ERP alignment with Cogiscan and Kardex, participating in annual audits, and supporting continuous improvement efforts within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience in inventory control, material handling, or warehousing.

Responsibilities

  • Support cycle count program with planning, discrepancy analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Make minor inventory adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing to resolve inventory accuracy issues.
  • Maintain alignment between ERP and Cogiscan/Kardex systems.
  • Participate in annual inventory audits and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in disposal of obsolete or excess inventory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Role, at a glance

As an Inventory Control Specialist I, you will support inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts, minor adjustments, and collaboration with other departments. This entry‑level role is essential to maintaining the integrity of our inventory systems. The position is performed on‑site during Monday–Friday, 8‑hour day shifts.

How you’ll contribute
  • Administer and support continuous improvement of the cycle count program through count planning, discrepancy analysis, root cause classification, and corrective action tracking
  • Make minor inventory adjustments as needed
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing to resolve inventory accuracy issues
  • Maintain alignment between the ERP system and other software systems such as Cogiscan and Kardex
  • Participate in annual inventory audits and continuous improvement efforts
  • Assist in the disposal of obsolete or excess inventory
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory control, material handling, or warehousing
  • Strong math skills, including basic algebra
  • Basic understanding of inventory management, cycle counting, and part numbering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint)
  • Effective communication and organizational skills in English
  • Ability to work collaboratively and handle challenging situations
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
