Job summary

Mr. Greens Produce in ATX is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain accurate stock levels through regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate returns or restocking as needed.

You will back up Receiving, verify incoming shipments, support warehouse operations, and keep the inventory area clean and organized in a refrigerated environment; PPE such as steel-toed shoes, safety vests, gloves, and hairnets are required.

Qualifications

• Regular cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory.
• Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Process returned product and coordinate restocking or disposal.
• Back-up Receiving duties and verify incoming shipments.
• Maintain clean, organized inventory area and support warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Review and process all returned product from delivery drivers; assess conditions, document reasons, and coordinate restocking or disposal.
• Collaborate with Receiving Department to verify and document incoming shipments when serving as the receiving back-up.
• Monitor inventory transactions in the system to ensure proper recording.

With deliveries 365-days a year, 7-days a week and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service.
