Job summary

Mr. Greens is seeking an experienced Router to optimize delivery routes in the ATX area. You will create efficient routes, monitor daily assignments, and coordinate with drivers to meet service standards and DOT compliance.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and bilingual ability is a plus. Weekend availability and attention to detail are essential as you support fast-paced logistics operations and accurate order assembly.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Experience with routing software and logistics preferred.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
• Ability to multi-task and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Data entry experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Critical analytical skills.
• Bilingual preferred in English and Spanish.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Availability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Create efficient delivery routes, incorporating travel and service times, DOT restrictions, and traffic patterns.
• Plan, distribute, monitor, and follow-up daily route assignments to ensure customers are serviced per company standards and agreements.
• Coordinate best routes with manager, considering staffing and drivers’ capabilities.
• Maximize truck capacity for most efficient routes.
• Follow up with drivers to communicate areas of improvement or concerns regarding routes.
• Ensure timely deliveries to customers with time constraints.
• Coordinate pick-up of returns while ensuring efficient routing and safe load transport.
• Pull customer orders & transfers efficiently and accurately.
• Assemble orders, transfers in identified lag areas, properly packed and labeled.
• Stack large orders on pallets and secure with stretch wrap.
• Verify product and count accuracy; load must be stable and meet DOT requirements.
• Daily checks on lift truck and battery as directed.

With deliveries 365-days a year, 7-days a week, and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service.
