Job summary

stow is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist in Adairsville, GA to ensure accurate SAP/ERP inventory records and efficient material flow. You will manage receipts, transfers, adjustments, and audits, driving data integrity and operational excellence across the facility.

You will collaborat e with Warehouse, Production, Purchasing and Planning teams to resolve discrepancies, track materials, and support standard work and reporting that sustain safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Inventory accuracy is required.
• Cycle counts must be accurate and timely.
• SAP/ERP transaction accuracy is essential.
• Discrepancies must be resolved promptly.
• Proper inventory location and organization are critical.
• Reduce inventory adjustments and errors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP/ERP systems.
• Perform daily inventory transactions (receipts, transfers, adjustments).
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, shortages, overages, and location errors.
• Manage temporary locations during expansion.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, Purchasing and Planning teams.
• Track raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and packaging materials.
• Ensure inventory movements are scanned and documented.
• Maintain records for damaged/missing materials.
• Assist root-cause investigations for discrepancies.
• Identify opportunities to improve accuracy and storage practices.
• Support inventory control procedures and standard work.
• Prepare inventory reports on accuracy and availability.
• Follow safety procedures and warehouse standards.
• Train employees on inventory handling and scanning procedures.

Job description

The warehouse of the future is equipped with our autonomous robots instead of forklifts and our Atlas 2D pallet shuttles or tote shuttles that allow for high-density storage (no wasted space).

Job Description

Inventory Control Specialist — Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP/ERP systems.
• Perform daily inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and material movements.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, and location errors.
• Maintain accurate inventory locations and manage temporary location needs during expansion
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, Purchasing, and Planning teams to resolve inventory disputes/discrepancies
• Track raw materials, work-in-process, finished goods, and packaging materials.
• Ensure inventory movements are properly scanned and documented.
• Maintain accurate records for damaged, missing, quarantined, or rejected materials.
• Assist with root-cause investigations for recurring inventory discrepancies.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, storage practices, and material flow.
• Support implementation and maintenance of inventory control procedures and standard work.
• Prepare inventory reports and provide information regarding inventory accuracy, discrepancies, and material availability.
• Follow company safety procedures and warehouse operating standards.
• Train employees on proper inventory handling, scanning, labeling, and transaction procedures as needed.
