Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented inventory associate to execute departmental counts, process damaged or returned merchandise, and manage stock status. The role collaborates across departments to ensure policy compliance and uphold club standards.

Responsibilities include obtaining vendor return authorizations, re-wrapping sellable items, and maintaining accurate signage and cleanliness. Regular attendance and safety throughout the shift are essential.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Basic math skills required.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently; may lift more with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out department inventory counts and control counts as prescribed by Home Office.
• Process damaged/defective and returned merchandise; obtain vendor return authorizations.
• Wrap and re-pack sellable merchandise with proper seal/shrink-wrap.
• Maintain accurate stock/inventory status for all damaged/returned items.
• Conduct daily club safety walks and ensure a safe environment for members and team members.
• Enter weekly recoveries and ensure compliance with club policies and procedures.
