Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services in Lake Forest, California, is seeking an Inventory Control & Purchasing Coordinator to join our manufacturing client’s team. The role oversees day-to-day purchasing and inventory, partners with production and distribution, and supports fulfillment of stock, supply, and maintenance needs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
At least 2 years of experience directly related to duties.
Ability to understand and maintain quality and safety procedures.
Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English; Spanish a plus.
Understanding of ERP/Inventory/KanBan terms and inputs.
Basic understanding of Logistics a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day purchasing and inventory to fulfill stock, supply, and maintenance needs.
Purchase, log and source all supplies with assistance from Department Managers, QA, and Upper Management.
Prepare purchase orders and RFQs; maintain information systems and records.
Review, document, and submit all accounts payable invoices for payment.
Coordinate flow of goods between production and distribution departments.
Issue, monitor, and close all work tickets; maintain inventory both physically and digitally.
Oversee monthly cycle counting programs.
Assist receiving inspection and monitor supplier POs to ensure deliveries meet demands.
