Job summary

PipShip LLC is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to safeguard the warehouse's physical integrity and ensure accurate WMS data and proactive replenishment. You will manage cycle counts with ShipHero WMS, optimize slotting based on SKU velocity, reclaim aging inventory, and own packaging inventory procurement to support operations.

This role requires on‑feet work 8–10 hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, and collaboration with CSMs to maximize rack space and reduce costs.

Qualifications

Experience in dedicated inventory control, cycle counting, or slotting in a high-volume 3PL or e‑commerce fulfillment environment.
Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookup formulas) and able to quickly learn new cloud-based tools.
Certified (or willing to certify) on stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers.
Able to stand/walk 8–10 hours per day and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

Manage daily cycle counts and ensure WMS accuracy in ShipHero across picking locations and racks.
Analyze SKU velocity to improve floor placement and reduce picker travel time by targeted re-slotting.
Monitor aging inventory and coordinate with CSM for removal, RTV, or clearance actions; own packaging inventory.
Perform weekly safety-stock audits and lead cost optimization with packaging suppliers to lower spend.
