Job summary

Generac is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist I to track inventory, verify quantities, and ensure raw materials are in the correct location within the distribution center. The role involves cycle counts, updating the inventory system, and assisting with shipments and discrepancy resolution.

You will use barcode scanners and SAP in a warehouse setting, report to a supervisor, and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in manufacturing or equivalent environments with inventory control.
• Knowledge of cycle count methodology and SAP operations.
• Basic computer skills and ability to communicate via email.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and become proficient in driving power equipment.
• Look up products in the warehouse and identify missing inventory.
• Research missing inventory locations and correct system errors.
• Perform dynamic cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
• Enter and adjust items in the inventory database using barcode scanners, computers, or RF tools.
