Open Road Brands is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist in Wichita, KS to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure integrity across the warehouse. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Two+ years in warehouse inventory control or related experience preferred.
• Experience with WMS, ERP systems, or inventory management software.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and data entry.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records using the company's WMS or ERP system.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, and damaged goods.
• Monitor inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and shipments.
• Coordinate with receiving, shipping, and warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Reconcile physical inventory with system records and prepare adjustment documentation.
• Analyze inventory trends and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Generate inventory reports and communicate findings to management.
• Ensure proper product identification, labeling, and storage; assist with audits.
• Maintain compliance with policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Train warehouse personnel on inventory procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
