Job summary

WarehouseQuote, based in Kansas City, MO, is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory accuracy across internal and external teams. You will be the primary contact for inventory control activities, ensuring client confidence by safeguarding inventory and driving reconciliation reporting.

You will collaborate with Service Operations, Account Management, and Operations to investigate discrepancies, document findings, and implement preventative actions while leveraging WHQ’s data

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data handling.
• Experience with inventory control or warehouse operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and weekly inventory reconciliations using WHQ and partner data.
• Investigate discrepancies and document root causes with corrective actions.
• Maintain clear client and internal communications with detailed reporting.
• Use WHQ Portal, Footprint by Datex WMS and Jira to track investigations and resolutions.
• Contribute to process improvements to reduce recurring variances and enhance accuracy.
