Job summary

ETI Precision is seeking an Inventory Control & Materials Coordinator to maintain inventory accuracy and ensure timely availability of materials for production. You will perform ERP/MRP transactions, cycle counts, material issuance, and discrepancy resolution while collaborating with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Quality teams.

Required: high school diploma and at least two years in inventory control or materials coordination in manufacturing; proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Excel;

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate material picking, kitting, staging, and issuance to support production.
  • Conduct cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Monitor levels and communicate shortages to stakeholders.
  • Support traceability, nonconforming material processes, and audits.
  • Keep storage areas organized and compliant with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Quality teams.

Job description

ETI Precision is seeking an experienced Inventory Control & Materials Coordinator to support manufacturing operations by maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the timely availability of materials required for production. This role is responsible for inventory transactions, cycle counting, material issuance, discrepancy resolution, and inventory control processes while working closely with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Quality teams.

Compensation:

$24.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through ERP/MRP transactions, including receipts, transfers, issues, returns, and inventory adjustments.
  • Coordinate material picking, kitting, staging, and issuance to support production schedules and work orders.
  • Conduct cycle counts, assist with physical inventories, and investigate inventory variances.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages, discrepancies, and material-related concerns to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Support traceability, nonconforming material processes, and inventory audit requirements.
  • Maintain organized and secure inventory storage areas in accordance with company standards and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Quality teams to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of inventory control, materials coordination, warehouse, or stockroom experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience utilizing ERP, MRP, or inventory management systems.
  • Working knowledge of cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and physical inventory processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business software applications.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Associate degree or coursework in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, technical services, electronics, or ISO-regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with barcode systems, lot/serial traceability, and inventory control best practices.
