Job summary

Accredited Labs is seeking a Calibration Technician to join the Roanoke, TX team. You will test, calibrate, and troubleshoot various instruments at customer sites and at our Roanoke location.

The role emphasizes professional communication, strict adherence to procedures, and accurate record-keeping across on-site projects. Ideal candidates have strong mechanical/technical learning ability, reliability, and a customer-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to lift 50lbs.
  • Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to customer locations with frequent overnight, out-of-state travel, Monday through Friday, up to 80% of the year. This may also include rare weekend travel.

Responsibilities

  • Complete accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites.
  • Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentation.
  • Perform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards.
  • Work directly with the client throughout the calibration process from the first onsite touch point to completion of the project, including good communication to provide client updates on services needed.
  • Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards.
  • Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
  • Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support.
  • Communicate with customers throughout the process and provide status updates.

ETI Precision is looking for a talented calibration technician to join its growing team in Roanoke, TX! This is a full-time role offering competitive pay and great benefits. Calibration Technician will test, calibrate, and troubleshoot a variety of test and measurement instruments. This critical equipment is maintained and periodically calibrated for accuracy, reliability, and conformance to established industry and customer standards. As a calibration technician, you will be relied upon by both our customers and your colleagues within an environment that values professional development opportunities.

Location

On-site at various customer sites in Roanoke, TX and surrounding areas. Occasionally at our office in Roanoke, TX.

Day to Day Responsibilities
  • Complete accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites

  • Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods, and techniques in metrology gained through education or professional experience
  • Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment
  • Experience working with Manufacturer’s Quality Systems
  • Associate’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical Fields
  • Technical Degree or Certificate
  • Military PMEL Training
  • Metrology experience
  • Experience with IndySoft
Pay Information
  • Level 0 starts at $26.
  • Level I starts at $27.
  • Level II starts at $28.
  • Level III starts at $32.
