Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Leader to oversee daily operations, ensure accuracy, and drive distribution center performance across the network. You will guide teams, analyze results, and implement improvements while partnering with DC leaders and cross-functional partners.

A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in inventory or operations plus 2+ years supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years in inventory, distribution, or operations.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, WMS, AS/400, and Sterling Commerce; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily inventory control operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and DC performance.
• Guide teams, analyze inventory results, and implement improvements.
• Oversee audits, internal controls, and documentation to align with expectations.
