Job summary

Pattison ID is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to optimize inventory levels, enhance accuracy, and support supply chain decisions using AI tools and advanced Excel. You will analyze trends, forecast demand, automate reporting, and guide strategic inventory planning.

This role requires analytical rigor, attention to detail, and a drive for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in inventory planning, experience managing a small team, and strong ERP knowledge.

Qualifications

2–5 years in inventory planning, inventory control or materials management.
Supervisory experience managing a team of 4 employees.
Advanced Excel skills including INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, charts/dashboards.
Experience with ERP systems (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor).

Responsibilities

Maintain optimal inventory levels to support production and demand.
Analyze data to identify trends, shortages, excess stock, and slow movers.
Use AI-powered tools to improve forecasting, demand planning, reporting, and efficiency.
Develop and maintain advanced Excel reports, dashboards, and models.
Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations and Production to align inventory strategies.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and resolve variances with warehouse teams.
Monitor cycle counts and physical inventories for accuracy.
Generate inventory performance metrics and aging reports.
Support ERP data integrity and item master data.
Prepare management reports with inventory performance recommendations.
