Job summary

Biocomposites is seeking an Inventory & Logistics Coordinator in Wilmington, NC, to manage inventory accuracy, coordinate with distributors, and drive data-driven decisions. The role interfaces with Sales, Distributors, and customers to ensure timely counts, reporting, and reconciliation.

The position requires meticulous organization, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment. Fridays are 5pm close; standard MS Office and ERP proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor inventory programs as directed by the Director of Logistics and Inventory Control and see them through completion.
• Generate memos, emails and reports when appropriate.
• Respond to questions and requests for information from customers and distributors.
• Act as a liaison between the Sales Team, Customers and Distributors.
• Use phone, email and Teams to obtain inventory counts from customers and distributors.
• Provide ongoing feedback, training and supervision to the Customer Support Specialist team on inventory issues.
• Provide monthly shipment and expirations reports to each distributor.
• Monitor inventory levels and take corrective action for overstock or expirations.
• Create an inventory count schedule for each distributor and location.
• Conduct required counts and reconciliations with distributors and customers holding consignment inventory.
• Make recommendations on charging distributors for lost or expired inventory.
