Job summary

The Inventory Control Manager at St. Louis Area Foodbank oversees inventory accuracy across the distribution network, leading cycle counts, annual physical inventories, and reconciliations to support product availability and food safety.

This role partners with Operations, Acquisitions, and Distribution, driving policy improvements, data integrity, and ERP-driven reporting using Microsoft Dynamics NAV/365 while promoting accountability and continuous improvement in a fast-paced warehouse

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in inventory control or warehouse ops.
• Experience with ERP/inventory systems; Microsoft Dynamics NAV/365 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve inventory control policies, procedures, workflows, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Receiving, Shipping, Acquisitions, and Distribution to track inventory movement.
• Lead annual physical inventory, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure FIFO usage to minimize spoilage across dry, refrigerated, and frozen inventory.
• Monitor recalls, enforce inventory accuracy, and support safety and compliance.
