Job summary

Jabil, a global manufacturing and engineering solutions company, is seeking a Sr. Inventory Control Manager to lead inventory control operations across our facilities.

You will ensure accurate stock levels, optimize material flow, and drive continuous improvement to boost customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in inventory control or supply chain, 3–5 years in leadership, strong ERP/WMS experience, and APICS certification.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive inventory control or supply chain experience.
• 3–5 years in a leadership or management role.
• Experience in a complex manufacturing environment, preferably electronics/high‑tech.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting, planning, and optimization.
• ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and WMS experience.
• Advanced Excel and data visualization skills.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce inventory control policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize inventory levels and minimize discrepancies.
• Lead and mentor a team of inventory control specialists and analysts, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee and manage cycle counting and physical inventory processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation.
• Analyze inventory data, identify trends, and provide insights to drive decision-making and improve inventory turns, obsolescence reduction, and working capital optimization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, procurement, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless material flow and alignment with production schedules.
• Implement and maintain inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS) and leverage data analytics to enhance inventory visibility and control.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce inventory holding costs, improve accuracy, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
• Prepare and present regular reports on inventory performance, discrepancies, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices related to inventory management.
• Manage and resolve complex inventory issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
