Job summary

Busy Beaver in Fairmont, WV is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to oversee accuracy in receiving, warehousing, and audits. You will partner with the General Manager to protect assets and improve inventory workflow.

As a Keyholder, you’ll manage store operations in the GM’s absence, lead cycle counts and audits, and coach team members to uphold company standards. This full-time role requires leadership and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management, warehouse, or retail operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to coach, train, and develop associates.
• Retail management or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in inventory functions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Act as a Keyholder and manage the store in the absence of the General Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Lead by example in inventory areas, maintaining organization, cleanliness, and workflow efficiency.
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, and backroom operations.
• Ensure merchandise is received, documented, signed, and priced accurately.
• Maintain safety awareness and enforce a secure, hazard-free work environment.
• Lead cycle counts, audits, and vendor/fine line checks.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and performance reviews for team members.
• Implement training programs to support associate development and inventory best practices.
