Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel in Ashville, Ohio is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Manager to lead the inventory function, drive accuracy, and improve processes in a large 3PL distribution environment.

You will oversee cycle counts, target accuracy, and loss prevention while coaching an inventory team and supporting DEI initiatives. Join a global logistics leader committed to operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in a distribution environment.
• 5+ years in an inventory role.
• 3+ years in a leadership position.
• 3+ years of WMS experience.
• CPIM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the inventory function and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Train and motivate staff; evaluate performance and development.
• Support DEI programs and inclusive workplace practices.
• Identify analytics to improve the planning process.
• Lead annual cost planning with accuracy and transparency.
• Oversee discrepancies via cycle counts and adjustments.
• Implement loss prevention programs to reduce shrinkage and risk.
• Create SOPs for inventory roles and documentation.
• Drive KPIs and create action plans for issue resolution.
