Job summary

Ontex is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee inventory accuracy and control processes in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. You will lead a team responsible for cycle counting, transactions, and reconciliation, collaborating with Production, Purchasing, Shipping, Receiving, and Quality to ensure material availability.

Qualifications

• Requires High school diploma or GED; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years in inventory control, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Experience leading or supporting improvement projects.
• Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of FIFO, lot tracking, and cycle counting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead inventory control team including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Support annual/quarterly physical inventory audits with pre/post analysis.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
• Coordinate annual physical inventories and support audits; ensure data accuracy with IT/Planning/Operations.
• Analyze data trends to identify material flow improvements and reduction of discrepancies.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and inventory management requirements.
