Talentify seeks an experienced Inventory Controls Analyst to strengthen inventory accuracy, financial controls, and operational continuity in a manufacturing setting. Qualifications

• 3+ years in inventory accounting, analysis, or control.
• Experience in manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on SAP inventory management.
• Experience investigating variances and discrepancies.
• Understanding of cycle counts and physical inventory.
• Experience with SOX controls/audits.
• Strong Excel skills: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation, reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate inventory issues clearly with operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze inventory activity to identify discrepancies.
• Investigate variances and determine root causes with plant personnel.
• Perform reconciliations, account tie-outs, and reporting.
• Resolve SAP inventory exceptions (COGI, IDoc, negative inventory).
• Execute inventory-related SOX controls and document evidence.
• Monitor adjustments with proper review and approval.
• Support cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
• Assist with audit prep by gathering docs and evidence.
• Analyze data to identify trends and recurring issues.
• Partner with plant operations, finance, accounting, and supply chain.
• Help standardize inventory control processes across locations.
• Support segregation-of-duties and internal control activities.
