Job summary

The Shipping Clerk at Teledyne Relays will support manufacturing by receiving, storing, and issuing materials, ensuring accurate ERP transactions, and delivering kits to the correct work centers in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of material handling experience, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with BOMs, ERP/MRP systems (Infor/MAPICS preferred). 5S and safety are essential, and familiarity with Microsoft Excel is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience reading BOMs and production paperwork.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and inventory transactions.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials from Receiving Inspection and verify quantities, part numbers, descriptions, and documentation.
• Perform ERP inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, issues, returns and other movements.
• Stock materials in designated locations using FIFO and proper handling practices.
• Pick and kit materials according to MOs BOMs and production schedules, ensuring correct part numbers and lot info.
• Stage and deliver kits to designated manufacturing areas per schedule priorities.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliations.
