Job summary

Columbia Distributing is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to support Day/Night Warehouse, Admin, Delivery and Sales in Anchorage. You will track dates and product rotation, perform monthly counts, and research discrepancies to keep inventory accurate.

You will monitor inventory levels, assist with WMS training, and ensure compliance with liquor regulations while collaborating with teammates and other departments.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Certified on all warehouse equipment.
  • Warehouse experience and inventory practice background.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy in counting and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with training on warehouse systems (WMS) as needed.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels and flows; determine corrective actions.
  • Support daily inventory control activities and monthly processes.
  • Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Comply with state liquor laws and regulations.

Inventory Control (Inventory Analyst) - Anchorage

Working Locations

Summary

Our Inventory Control position works as a supporting role to Day/Night Warehouse, Admin, Delivery, and Sales. They track and monitor all dates and layers so as to keep product in proper rotation. They do their required counting on a monthly basis and then research any discrepancies in their counts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with warehouse management system (WMS) training as required by department or individual
  • Manage and monitors inventory levels and flows, and directs corrective action as needed
  • Assist with the daily execution of Inventory Control activities as directed
  • Assist with adherence to daily, monthly, quarterly inventory processes
  • Develop and maintain positive, cooperative and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers and others you come into contact with throughout your job
  • Adhere to all state liquor laws and regulations
  • Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values at all times

Work Environment

This job operates indoors and outdoors.

Physical Demands
  • Lift/carry/push/pull 50 lbs. repetitively, kegs up to 165 lbs.

  • Climb stairs/ladder

Required Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Certified on all warehouse equipment
  • Warehouse experience
  • Minimum one (1) year experience with inventory practices
Compensation
  • Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
