Job summary

LSI Industries is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for our Tampa, FL location. The role ensures accurate receiving, issuing, and control of materials, using forklifts and inventory software to track locations and quantities.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and 1–3 months of related experience. A valid driver’s license and data-entry skills are essential for supplies management and cycle counts.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math; data entry skills.
• Knowledge of inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and related equipment to move, stack, and transport materials.
• Unload, count, and stage materials as requested.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and bin locations in the system.
• Issue materials in the computer system and support receiving backups.
• Perform cycle counts and ensure accuracy of inventory data.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Support other departments as needed.
