Job summary

Sunland Logistics Solutions is seeking an Inventory Specialist to help ensure daily inventory accuracy, oversee shipping and receiving, and support warehouse operations.

You will perform location and SKU audits, investigate discrepancies, and maintain safe, organized storage while coordinating with management.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate, some college preferred but not required.
• One to two years experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Written and oral communication skills in English are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily location and SKU audits of inventory and adjustments as required.
• Investigate discrepancies and help determine root cause.
• Ensure and comply with procedures to ensure product is properly controlled.
• Communicate problems regarding shipment scanning to management.
• Identify damaged items staged in outbound bays.
• Perform various operational checks to monitor adherence to procedures.
• Inspect the storage of products for quality assurance.
• Accurately document results of inventory audits upon completion.
• Communicate with management and associates daily.
• Identify count of inventory in assigned areas.
• Maintain log of quality control.
• Other duties as assigned.
