Job summary

Houston Citizens Chamber of Commerce is seeking a stock control operator to support warehouse operations in Lakeland, FL. Responsibilities include pulling and placing inventory in W.I.P areas, returning items to inventory, and documenting shortages with forklift or pallet jack use.

The role requires basic math, ability to read and produce documentation, and a valid forklift certification. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous stock/inventory experience a plus.
• Forklift or pallet jack experience a plus.
• Prior Material Handler experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure orderly distribution to all W.I.P areas.
• Return completed goods from all W.I.P areas back to inventory.
• Maintain accurate stock records in JDE.
• Feed packaging to all operation areas.
• Locate materials and supplies per pull sheets and verify.
• Complete pre-use inspections on material handling equipment; report repairs.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely.
• Keep inventory and W.I.P areas clean.
• Learn and adhere to workplace safety regulations.
