Job summary

humano LLC in Rocky Hill, CT is seeking an Inventory Control / Experienced Warehouse Associate to maintain and report accurate inventory and support fiscal accounting. You will liaise with internal and external customers to ensure accuracy of stock and records.

The role requires warehouse experience, familiarity with WMS and MHE, basic math, and a willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced refrigerated environment. The position is full-time with a 2nd shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
• Familiarity with operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
• Ability to operate and learn to operate various technology including computers and tablets.
• High school diploma or GED required; additional education or relevant experience is preferred.
• Basic math skills necessary for proper counting and verification of pallet ID numbers.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all inventory-related tasks.
• Flexibility to work variable schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Job Summary: As an Inventory Control Specialist in the warehouse, you will be responsible for accurately maintaining, tracking, and reporting physical inventory. Acting as a liaison between internal and external customers, you will ensure the accuracy of physical inventory and fiscal accounting.

Pay: $21.50/hour

Shift 2nd Shift Full Time 4 - 10 hour days

Environmental Job Conditions:

• Ability to independently lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally.
• Regularly engage in sitting, standing, walking, bending, and squatting in a refrigerated warehouse setting.
• Perform tasks such as grasping, reaching, pushing, or pulling on a frequent basis.
• Endurance for continuous and fast-paced work activities.
• Adherence to necessary safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as steel-toed footwear, gloves, safety glasses, etc.
