Job summary

RocketDyne is seeking an Inventory Management Support B to maintain accurate stock levels in the ERP system and in the stockroom. You will receive material, transact inventory, move items, and support cycle counts while working with labs and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in teams.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to multitask and change priorities as directed.

Responsibilities

• Accurately move and transact material in a timely manner
• Support inventory locations
• Support inventory documentation
• Perform transfers, reservations, e-fills, kitting, etc.
• Enter data accurately into Costpoint (ERP system)
• Data entry into Excel to provide traceability and metrics
• Communicate product or documentation discrepancies
• Assist multiple supporting functions with various material related duties
• Perform tasks designated by management/supervisor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Strong communication skills both verbal, written, and great customer service attitude
• The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25-50 pounds
• Strong computer skills, ERP experience a plus
• Understanding of importance of inventory accuracy within a MRP system is a plus
• Able to work independently
• Understanding of Alpha-numeric system
• Cycle counts/support
• Following directions for daily and special tasks
• Motivated to perform inventory locations & documentation on the daily to meet metrics
