Job summary

Lane Automotive in Watervliet, MI is hiring an Inventory Control Associate and Equipment Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3 PM–12 AM). You will help ensure inventory accuracy by reconciling locations with our systems and may operate a forklift after certification.

Responsibilities include daily cycle counts, resolving inbound/outbound discrepancies, maintaining Trend documentation, supporting kitting, and keeping the distribution center organized.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• PIT (forklift) license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily review of inventory levels, cycle counts, discrepancies, slotting, and attributes.
• Perform daily cycle counts; identify and resolve required corrections to inventory and bin locations.
• Ensure inventory accuracy by resolving inbound receipt and shipping discrepancies.
• Maintain documentation to ensure record accuracy with discrepancies and credits.
• Research and analyze purchase orders/sales orders and product to resolve discrepancies.
• Kitting assembly/disassembly to match sales demand.
• Propose inventory control process improvements.
• Partake in housekeeping of the distribution center.
