Job summary

Lane Automotive is seeking a Receiving Associate for 1st shift, part-time (Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–3:00 PM) in Watervliet, MI. You will receive vendor shipments, inspect items, label, and prepare products for storage while maintaining a clean, safe receiving area.

Responsibilities include documenting discrepancies, moving stock with forklift or pallet jack, collaborating with internal/external customers, and supporting continuous improvement teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Minimum of one-year related experience.
• Powered industrial truck (PIT) license or ability to obtain.
• Familiarity with Trend PO system and IRMS preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Receive vendor shipments by PO and RM number.
• Inspect and verify amounts, description, labels, and QA.
• Label/package product per procedures.
• Document discrepancies via discrepancy sheets and log errors to Receiving Manager.
• Stage received product in proper locations to facilitate workflow.
• Build pallets for incoming product according to storage zone.
• Move stock with forklift/pallet jack within IRMS.
• Assist Inventory Control with storage slotting.
