Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Logistics Associate to join our Midwest Distribution center team. The role will be assigned to a department with cross-training options across Shipping, Order Picking, Direct to Consumer, Put away, Inventory, Receiving and Inbound.

The shift is Monday–Friday from 6am to 2pm. Equipment operators (standup forklift, order picker, reach truck, dock truck, walkie rider) may be required based on experience. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Minimum one year experience in Warehousing, Receiving, or Material Management preferred.
  • Ability to read, count, and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

  • Process merchandise according to Camping World policies and procedures.
  • Receive incoming merchandise and process orders, pick, pack, and ship.
  • Verify inbound/outbound documents and labels for accuracy and damage.
  • Use RF scanners, computers, and handheld printers.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely up to 30 feet.
  • Communicate system and merchandise issues to leadership.
  • Report equipment or product issues immediately.
  • Complete all duties and maintain a clean, orderly area.

Job description

Camping World is seeking a Logistics Associate to join our growing team. The person in this role will be part of the team within the distribution center. We have several departments that you are able to cross train with but you will be assigned to one department. The Camping World Midwest Distribution center operates 24 hours around the clock Shipping, Order Picking, Direct to Consumer, Put away, Inventory, Receiving and Inbound.

This shift would be M-F 6am-2pm.

We are hiring Non-Equipment and Equipment Operators (standup forklift, order picker, reach truck, dock truck, walkie rider) based on experience and interest. What You'll Do
  • Process merchandise according to Camping World policies and procedures to ensure merchandise is distributed efficiently and accurately.
  • Receive incoming merchandise, Inventory sorting or counting, processing orders, picking merchandise, packaging, and shipping merchandise.
  • Verify required inbound/outbound documents/labels to ensure merchandise counts are accurate and product is free of damage.
  • Use RF Scanners, computers, and handheld printers.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely up to the height of 30 feet.
  • Communicate system and merchandise issues to the Leadership Team.
  • Communicate issues with equipment, product, or structure immediately.
  • Complete all duties assigned, including general warehouse duties when business needs require it.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
What You'll Need To Have For The Role
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Inventory and Returns experience is preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic tasks such as reading, counting, basic math calculations.
  • Minimum of one year experience in Warehousing, Receiving, or Material Management preferred.
  • Be a team player and have a cooperative mindset.
  • Be punctual and ready to work.
  • Flexibility in work assignments is essential.
  • Must be willing to be cross trained as business needs dictate.
  • Be willing to learn all types of equipment used in the DC.
Physical Requirements Include
  • Standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squating, bending, and reaching during shifts.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. and/or moving up to 100 lbs with assistive devices.

The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below.

Pay Range

$16.65-$20.00 Hourly
